Whats up guys, this is yours truly Memphis529 here just giving you guys a heads up, this weeks show has been postponed till next week due to personal issues in Shadows life and a bad case of the flu in my own. So we’ve both spoken, and deliberated that this weeks show is going to be cut into an article, and we’ll start fresh next week with a whole show Featuring the up coming Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and the Limited edition Console coming with it!

We’re both really excited for this release because myself and shadow are both COD Junkies haha, gotta have that fix people! Anyways we both apologize about not having the show this week, but we look forward to making it up to you all with next weeks show.

On a sunny note though, i am going to throw in my review of Darkest of Days, a demo that was recently released on the Marketplace and the game too.
Darkest of Days is a sort of time shift game, only with Native Americans and Germans and Roman Forces galore! Darkest of Days places the player into the role of Alexander Morris, a soldier fighting in the battle of Little Big horn, more commonly known as Custer’s Last Stand.

After Custer is killed and Morris is wounded a large bubble of sorts suddenly appears in the middle of the hill that you’re on, and a man in a very retro Space suit walks out and rescues you from having a very close hair cut!
After being taken through the bubble like portal you wake up in the headquarters of KronoteK, an organization that has managed to make time travel not only possible, but probable. And is using this technology to research and protect History.
A woman known only as “Mother” tells Morris that the organization’s founder has gone missing and disturbances have started appearing through history, causing individuals that have played key roles in history to be placed in danger, and tasks Morris with helping KronoteK restore history.

After having sat through that long cut scene, all i really wanted to do was shoot something.. And they must have heard me yelling at the tv that i wanted to shoot something because soon after that i was thrust into a training session where i was allowed to wield weapons from a number of different times ranging from (World War 1 to the late 22nd Century) Anyways, after i went through all that, blew up a couple holographic frag dolls and had my blood lust sated. I was partnered up with another one of these KronoteK misfits and sent on a mission to track down an individual by the name of Cpl. Welsh from the Union Army in the American Civil War at the Battle of Antietam.
And so they sent me through the bubble time machine thing and poof i was in the Civil War on my way through a cornfield to my doom! But no, I wouldn’t die just yet! I was told to use the other soldiers as my “Meat shields” so to speak and after standing in a line and firing muskets at the opposing force bored for a good five minutes I was allowed to finally move my butt and get the heck outta there and save my first person every from being in the wrong place, at the wrong time (pun intended)

Anyways that was sum total of the demo, not a great game, but then again not a bad game, all in all i’d give it a 3 out of 5 just because i’m a history buff among other things. Look for the demo on the marketplace if you’re interested in it, and look for it at you’re local gamestop or other stores.
Anyways, this is Memphis529 saying have a great weekend, and you enjoyed the review on Darkest of Days, check us out next week. See ya around.
